Who Owns Levee Line
Levee Line has the same owners as two online water-treatment stores, SoftPro Water Systems and Quality Water Treatment, and nine of its pages link to products they sell.

Levee Line shares its owners with SoftPro Water Systems and Quality Water Treatment. Both sell softeners, filters and related equipment online. Levee Line is a separate publication about Sacramento-region home water; it is not a plumbing company, a water district or a utility, and it has no link to any business that used this web address before.

Only these nine pages link to store products, and each carries a note beside the links saying who sells them and that the stores share Levee Line's owners:

How store claims are handled
A store's description of its own product is reported as the store's claim, in its words, and never as a finding of this site. What a filter is certified to reduce comes from the certifier's listing for that exact model, and the page says what the model is not certified for.
Products are framed as optional and test-first. On the soft river water most of the region drinks, the pages say a softener is rarely needed, and that a softener does not treat bacteria, arsenic, nitrate or chromium 6. Prices appear only as the store's listed price in the month they were read.
Some store pages also carry a short video from SoftPro Water Systems' YouTube channel. Each one was watched or its transcript read before it was added, and its caption says the store shares Levee Line's owners and that anything the video claims is the store's own claim. Other pages use videos from public agencies, utilities and appliance makers.
What the stores never get
The stores never get a ranking, a rating or a review on this site; there are none. Store pages are never cited as a source for water quality, and the stores' own pages about Sacramento water are not used. Store links are disclosed as same-owner links on the page itself rather than marked as sponsored, and the stores are never quoted as a source on water quality, health or savings.
